What security measures are in place at Corby Self Storage Facilities?
We use a range of security systems to keep your belongings safe and secure.
- CCTV system - all the storage units are monitored 24/7. CCTV monitors the interior and exterior of the sites.
- Secure coded gate access - only individuals with a PIN code can access the storage facilities.
- Security fencing - every self storage facility is secured with security palisade fencing
- Floodlighting - movement acitvated floodlighting
- Personal lock and key - where padlocks are used, you will be given your personal key for accessing your storage space.
- Combination locks and smartphone access - individual units can be accessed using a combination lock or smartphone app.
How do I lock my self storage units?
● Outdoor unit - You can lock your outdoor self storage unit using the combination lock plus placing your complimentary heavy duty padlock in the factory fitted lock box
● Indoor unit - You can lock your indoor storage unit using your smartphone app.
Can I give others access to my self storage unit?
You can give other people access to your storage unit. You will have sole access to your space, so be careful when giving other people your key. You can give others access to your indoor unit remotely via your smartphone app.

We always know who is on our premises, our site is monitored 24/7 through CCTV and each customers has their own set of unique access codes to enter the site. Our software tracks who enters and leaves the sites with the timings.

What should I do if I lose the key to my self storage unit?
If you lose your storage unit key, you should report it to our team. We do not keep a copy of your key, so in this instance, we can have your unit opened by a locksmith. You will also be responsible for the cost.

If you have forgotten your personal access code to enter the location, you can request a new one from a member of our customer service staff.

In line with security protocol, we can only give new codes to the individual who signed the rental contract. You will need to present valid ID in order to be given new codes.
